Conference paperPublication Metadata only Changing passband on microstrip hairpin band-pass filter(IEEE, 2016) Benar, Cem; Tafida, Ibrahim Abbas; Kündüz, Mehmet Polat; Imeci, T.; Saral, A.; Benar, Cem; Tafida, Ibrahim Abbas; Kündüz, Mehmet PolatIn this work, a microstrip hairpin band-pass filter is designed and simulated in Sonnet Suite, a 3-D Planar Electromagnetic simulation tool [1]. A microstrip hairpin band-pass filter in any desired pass band can be obtained by modifying the length of CL parameter.Conference paperPublication Metadata only Double U slot patch antenna(IEEE, 2016) Oztuna, Atakan; Kansiz, Ayse; Kaya, Canberk; Saracoglu, Merve; Erboyaci, Ozan; Imeci, T.; Saral, A.; Oztuna, Atakan; Kansiz, Ayse; Kaya, Canberk; Saracoglu, Merve; Erboyaci, OzanIn this paper, we aim to design to simulate `double u slot patch antenna'. Our simulation and experimental investigation aimed to understand the behavior of the two U-slots. It can be used in WiMAX compliant communication equipments. As a result of all changes and on the geometry of the antenna, we had -17.38 dB input match and 5.13 dB gain at 5.47 GHz.Conference paperPublication Metadata only Microstrip patch antenna design with unified cornered rectangles(IEEE, 2016) Devli, Ata; Celik, Mert; Demir, Berkay; İmeci, T.; Saral, A.; Devli, Ata; Celik, Mert; Demir, BerkayIn this design, high-gain, directional microstrip patch antenna works at 11.1 GHz, which is in Ku-Band satellite receive frequency band. Our design has 3 nested rectangular patches which are cornered. As a result, the input match of -17.48 dB at 11.1 GHz resonance frequency has been observed. The maximum achieved gain was 5.48 dBi.
