Following Hasan Tasus, MNG’s Ground Operations Director Serkan Eren took the stage. He talked about various aspects of the airline cargo market. We learned that global cargo growth rates have outperformed that of trade recently and that the growth is mostly coming from emerging economies including Turkey. Serkan Eren explained their cargo operation plans at Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA). He presented the challenges his company is facing in the industry. We learned that Turkey’s logistic performance rate went down between the years 2012-2016. Serkan Eren answered few questions from the audience before finishing his speech.en_US
