dc.description.abstract | The properties of atmospheric chamber and measurement methods that are used in this system are explained and analyzed in detail. We present our own custom design atmospheric channel emulator for FSO system evaluations and experimentally investigate the performance of FSO links in different weather conditions. First, we present a link budget and quantify the geometrical loss. Then, we emulate foggy,rainy and turbulent weather conditions inside the chamber and quantify the absorption loss for different wavelengths. Based on the experimental data, we also propose a new and accurate model for the prediction of fog attenuation coefficient. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Bu tezde, geliştirilen atmosferik çemberin özellikleri ve sistem üzerinde yapılan ölçüm metodları açıklanmış ve detaylı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Biz kendi tasarımımız olan atmosferik kanal emülatörümüzü FSO sistemini ölçümlemek ve deneysel olarak FSO linklerini farklı hava koşullarında test etmek için kullanıyor ve sonuçları analiz ediyoruz. Daha sonra sisli yağmurlu ve tribunlanslı hava durumlarını yaratıyor, farklı dalgaboylarındaki sinyal gücü kaybını inceliyoruz. Elde edilen sonuçlardan sis nedeniyle oluşan sönümleme katsayısı için daha isabetli yeni bir model öne sürüyoruz. | |
