In this paper, a rectangular slotted square patch antenna with a floating ring and single point feed is presented. The proposed patch antenna, when optimized, achieved the highest gain of 7.17 dB at 7.12 GHz with -6.97 dB input match. Which presented theta polarized radiation pattern. Simulations conducted by changing the size of inner ring shape and high gains were observed between the frequencies of 7.08 and 7.13 GHz.en_US
