The recently proposed Square Contour Algorithm (SCA) provides a good solution to the blind equalization problem as it does not suffer from any type of phase rotation. However, its suitability to Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) system has been explored in this paper, and it is found that its convergence speed has reduced in multiuser scenarios. An algorithm for mitigating this effect is proposed, and simulations reinforce the suitability of this proposal to multi-user environments.
