The active brace is designed to adjust the pressure at the contact area where the medication is applied. The drug is contained in the nanoparticles produced and takes effect when the nanoparticles burst under pressure. The brace is designed to be compact and wearable which can be preprogrammed by a specialist to continue treatment sessions outside the medical facilities providing convenience and comfort to the patient.enginfo:eu-repo/semantics/restrictedAccessAn active brace for controlled transdermal drug delivery for adjustable physical therapyConference paper2149215200035004470203310.1109/EMBC.2014.6944042Biomedical electronicsDrug delivery systemsNanomedicineNanoparticles2-s2.0-84942429643
