dc.description.abstractWe investigate the path-loss of vehicular visible light communications based on the radiation pattern of a commercial car taillight. The measured pattern is incorporated into a ray-tracing model and simulation results indicate up to 4.2 dB variation in the path-loss compared with the Lambertian model.en_US
